Dedicated to the business model of a small, tightly run agency of seasoned professionals, Nancy J. Chaffee founded Chaffee Communications in 2003. The company is headquartered in Barrington, RI.

Taking a team approach to partnering with primarily mid-sized businesses, Chaffee Communications serves its clients with in-house marketing, advertising, public relations and design talent. The agency does have a considerable network of outside resources for supplemental or technical assistance, when required, for projects such as trade show booth construction or Web site implementation.

All the team members had worked at the company’s larger predecessor, Chaffee & Partners, a full-service marketing communications agency that was once the third largest in Providence. That agency originated in 1982 as Chaffee-Bedard, a 42-person full-service advertising, public relations and marketing agency owned by David Chaffee and the late Peter Bedard.

In addition to their experience at Chaffee & Partners, our team members have worked at other agencies, small to midsize corporations and/or Fortune 500 companies. Their depth of corporate and marketing experience rivals that of most large agencies. However, Chaffee Communications provides clients with the immediate responsiveness and accountability of highly experienced professionals rather than program implementation and contact through a hierarchy of account coordinators, account executives and account supervisors.
